Another perk of knowing nice people came on the 20th October 2011 when i was invited to travel from Crewe over the freight only line to Ironbridge Power Station in Shropshire.
What's more i sat all the way in the second man's seat of a new class 70 locomotive.
the pictures features here are start with the approach to the junction to the branchline at Telford, then subsequently all the way down the branch to the limit of the railway, and a quick photostop at Coalbrookdale on the way back,.
